I listened to the Walt Disney World podcast in Mevio. I found that the easiest directory for me to use was Podcastdirectory.com. The podcasts were broken down into more categories and the search function was easy to navigate. It took me a few tries to find the podcast that I was looking for, but as I became more familar with the site the easier it became. Since, I like to keep up-to-date with travel destinations, I subscribed to the Walt Disney podcast so I will know what's going on the next time we go.
I chose the Walt Disney podcast in order to let others know that it is a wonderful place for a vacation, even for those teens! I vacationed there with my family two years ago and found that it was just perfect for a family vacation!
I would like to create a podcast with my students this year...maybe over a Social Studies topic.
Jamie, that is a good idea, I was thinking of using a podcast in Social Studies as well. If you do it let me know how it turns out!!!!
